ICF International (NASDAQ: ICFI) is adding staff to its energy
efficiency team in Michigan to support a wide range of energy efficiency
programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global
corporations, as well as a variety of industry, and Government
organizations. We seek established program managers, able to lead teams
of technical and marketing specialists that will deliver and expand our
offerings in the state of Michigan.
ICF's Energy, Climate, & Transportation Practice offers results and
solutions to a broad range of clients in the energy industry in the
Americas, Europe, and Asia. We have advised both private and public
sector clients in all facets of the energy industry for more than 30
years. ICF International provides a portfolio of strategy, analysis,
advisory services, and implementation tools to clients in the energy

What you will do? Managing a multi-functional project team comprised of
technical and marketing specialists (ICF internal staff and
sub-contractors) to ensure timely and professional completion of all
tasks and achieve annual program goals. Overseeing all external
communication activities to make certain all messaging is accurate and
consistent. Work to develop strategies to influence market adoption of
energy efficiency services. Managing budgets and resources to maximize
efficiencies. Developing and implementing long-term business plans for
growing energy efficiency work in the residential sector throughout the
state.
What experience are we looking for? A minimum of a Bachelor's degree,
Masters desired and 8-12 years of experience developing and running
successful energy efficiency programs, with specific expertise in
residential energy issues. Experience managing consulting projects with
public sector clients, including providing quality control and budget
accountability. Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication
skills and excellent interpersonal and management skills are required.
Familiarity with the home improvement market and with residential energy
efficient and renewable technologies
What additional skills would we like to see?
- Knowledge of integrated or
whole house building science principles
- Knowledge of energy efficiency
and US policies for residential energy
- Knowledge of water efficiency
issues
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices and technologies
